celebrated annually on 21st June since its inception in 2015. Yoga
is a physical, mental and spiritual practice attributed mostly to India. Yoga
day was celebrated in the school’s Aravali Hall from 7.15am - 8.30am. A large
number of children and adults staying in and around the school campus

Sansthan demonstrated the different yoga postures and breathing techniques to
the gathering. They also monitored the crowd for correct posture and guided the
people in doing the Asanas correctly. School PE teacher, Dr Madhavi Pathak also
gave instructions to all yoga enthusiasts so that they could get their yoga
moves correct. Different asana such as vajrasana,
ushtrasana, shavasana and pranayama were demonstrated by yoga instructors
and the benefits of each yoga posture was explained to the participants.
The session ended with
shanti path. Vote of thanks was given by the school PE teacher. In the end
refreshments were given to one and all present. It was absolutely a very
informative session enjoyed by everyone.
