UKG PARENTS' DAY

The UKG Parents' Day celebration at The Air Force School was a spectacular event filled with joy, enthusiasm, and creativity. Little kindergarteners presented a stupendous cultural program titled "Fins, Friends, and Ocean World,” on 7th March 2025. The event provided an immersive experience into the enchanting underwater world. Parents, teachers, and students came together to celebrate the young learners' creativity and confidence.

Squadron Leader Tinju Thomas, ED TAFS graced the occasion as the chief guest. Ms Deepa Radhakrishnan, Headmistress, in her welcome address emphasised on importance of developing communication skills among children for their emotional, social & cognitive growth .It enables them to express their feelings effectively .She also requested parents to set boundaries for digital usage and monitor their content. Instead they should be motivated to interact with family and peers through group activities .The celebration began with a warm welcome to the parents. The event showcased a variety of performances and activities, each inspired by the ocean theme. The show saw the participation of all UKG students. Little kindergarteners dressed in vibrant costumes ,danced merrily to numerous peppy tracks like, Hand Clap, Summer summer, Under the sea,  Baby Shark doo doo etc. The little ones enacted short plays highlighting marine conservation and the importance of protecting ocean life. Children sang melodious ocean-themed songs, bringing the sea’s magic to life. A display of creative artwork, including paper fish, jellyfish hangings, and underwater landscapes, showcased artistic talents.

The event emphasized the importance of marine conservation, encouraging young minds to respect and protect the ocean. Through engaging performances and activities, students gained knowledge about different sea creatures, their habitats, and the need to keep oceans clean. The "Fins, Friends, and Ocean World" Parents’ Day celebration was a huge success, leaving parents with cherished memories and children with valuable lessons. The event not only showcased students' talents but also strengthened the bond between parents, teachers, and students in a fun and meaningful way.

Squadron Leader Tinju Thomas ED, TAFS commended he students for the engaging performances and urged the parents to be good role models to their little ones. Ms Lomina Rajiv, Principal and the guest of honour at the event extended her congratulations to the kindergarteners and teachers for putting up a remarkable show.
