The commonly spoken languages here are Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam etc. The translation slides, audio recordings and videos were used as resources to expose the children to the alphabets, songs, sentences of the languages.

Class 5 selected the Bangla song 'Ekla Chalo Re' by Rabindranath Tagore and regularly practiced it with the help of an audio. After a little practice, the students enjoyed singing the song in chorus. Each student also learnt a short self-introduction in Bangla.

Class 4 students learnt to speak short sentences related to exchanging pleasantries in Malayalam language with the help of a PPT and video. The children turned it into a fun activity by quicky grasping the sentences and using it with each other.
